Alphabetās market cap crossed the $3 trillion mark on Monday after a federal judge opted against breaking up the tech giant.
Judge Amit P. Mehta outlined softer remedies to last yearās ruling that Google maintained a monopoly in search, rejecting the DOJās push to force the sale of Chrome.
Bidders like Perplexity and Ecosia had lined up in anticipation, but those options are now off the table.
Investors rewarded the decision, with Alphabetās stock climbing as its search dominance and fast-growing AI-powered cloud business continue to fuel revenue. The company now joins Nvidia ($4.3T), Microsoft ($3.8T), and Apple ($3.5T) in the exclusive trillion-dollar club, while Amazon ($2.5T) trails behind.

London-based startup Nothing has raised $200M in Series C funding led by Tiger Global, pushing its valuation to $1.3B.
Founded by Carl Pei, the company has built a name with its transparent design and bold marketing, surpassing $1B in sales and shipping 5.1M devices to date.
The new funding will power its shift toward AI-native smartphones, with the first AI-first handset planned for 2026. Nothing is developing an AI-powered OS, with features like Essential Search, and has hired SƩlim Benayat as Head of AI Services to lead the effort.
While rivals like Humane and Rabbit have struggled with AI hardware, Pei insists smartphones will remain the dominant form factor for consumer AI in the coming years.
